A Case Report of Regional Enteritis Involving the Duodenum

Abstract
|
|
|
Regional enteritis is not a common disease and especially regional enteritis involving the duodenum is rare. There are only 33 cases reported in the literature but no case has been reported in Korea. However, author has seen a patient with signs and symptoms referable to the obstruction of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
Because of this unusual clinical manifestations, compared to the usual clinical feature of regional enteritis involving the terminal ileum, this case is reported to add another case of regional enteritis of the duodenum to the literature and to re-emphasize the clinical and its roentgenological manifestations.
